Delight - Canvas for Dusty Attic

Hello friends!

I made a very special canvas for you today using all sorts of Dusty Attic products.

I began by covering my canvas with Finnabair crackle paste and when it was dry I added Dusty Attic Texture Paste to make a new design over the crackles. When all the pastes were completely dry I painted the edges of my canvas with Dusty in Colour Raisin and Dusty in Colour Sugar Plum. I also glued some hearts from the Heart Attack Border #2. I covered them with gesso and then with clear microbeads.

The iridiscent purple shine is Lindy's Stamp Gang magicals. My latest addiction lol

My "Delight" title was painted white with a white Crackle Paint and placed over the DA blooms.
Aren't they just beautiful???

The small frame from the ornate set was first primed with gesso and then painted with Dusty in Colour Raisin. I then applied Crackle Varnish on top of it and directly sprinkled loads of clear microbeads on top as well as super fine glitter in white. It is very dimesional and so sparkly up close, like a sugar treat!

The Laurel Sprigs were painted with Pesto and Forrest and then they were covered with Crackle Varnish.

Forever - Dusty Attic April Moodboard layout

Hello crafty friends!

Today I will show you my interpretation of  Dusty Attic's April moodboard

I loved the blue and lilac tones but I decided to use them on a black background.
And this is my layout.

The Large Ornate Frame was covered with Finnabair graphite spaste and then randomly misted with mists made from Finnabair opal lilac and opal blue mica powders. The graphite paste absorbs the micas beautifully! Before the paste was dry, I spinkled some Finnabair glass glitter for extra texture and sparkle. This frame is the absolute domimant element of every layout!

I cut the lattice small chipboard to fit the inside of the frame and misted it with Lindy's Stamp Gang mist.

My title was also misted with the same Lindy's mist to match my lattice backgroung and randomly misted with micas as well. The Dusty in Bloom flowers were also misted with micas for extra sparkle and they look glorious!

Amother view of the frame. It shines and shimes!

Hello Sunshine - Acetate ATC trio for Lindys Stamp Gang

Hello Crafty friends!

Its not often for me to create just for fun or for a challenge but his month I couldnt resist in the Lindys Stamp Gang April color challenge! Arent the colors so yummy?

And definitely out of my comfort zone, so I had to try them, right? So I present to you my acetate ATC trio. Acetate has been my latest addiction and yes, you guessed correctly, you will see more of it along the way. Acetate has a marvelous way of showing the amazing shine of Starburst mists! Well, it can also be the worst material to photograph EVER! So beware, this post is photo heavy...

Here they are! I used lots of Lindys mists, Prima flowers, Finnabair graphite paste and Fabrica Decora Sand paste.

Let the close ups begin lol

Look at the glorious shine on the upper right corner!

The mists are highlighting the sand texture perfectly!

Some of the above colors were too intense so I dilluted them with a bit of water and got a paler tone. The shine however was still great!

See you in a couple of days!
