Altered υδρογειος για το Memories Trend - A crafter's joyride

Καλημερα σε όλους!

Σήμερα θα σας παρουσιάσω μια υδρόγειο σφαιρα η οποία υπέστη μεγάλη μεταμορφωση :) Ω ναι, προκειται για μια κλασσική υδρογειο απο το γνωστό πολυκαταστημα παιχνιδιων με την οποία επαιζαν τα παιδια μου. Δείτε πώς τη μεταμόρφωσα με υλικά απο το Memories Trend - A crafter's joyride. Πρώτα πέρασα μια στρώση μαυρου γκέσσο και μετά με το gel medium κολλησα λουλουδια και die cuts απο χαρτονι για όγκο. Εκανα μερικά τυχαια σχεδια με στενσιλ, περασα ακομα μια στρώση μαυρου γκεσσο πανω απο ολα και μετά ζωγραφισα με χρωματα της αρεσκειας μου. Πώς σας φαινεται?

Today I would like to present you my altered globe. It was my boys favorite toy until we bought a bigger one so the old and smaller one was left for mommy to play! I so enjoyed its alteration! I gave the globe a good coat of black gesso and then using gel medium, I adhered flowers and die cut chipboard pieces for volume and texture. After all flowers and gears is my all time favorite combo. I also did some stenciling for extra details and covered everythiong with black gesso again. After that, I went to town painting the globe!

Everyday fun - LO for SATW November challenge

Hello all, how are you? Life is so so busy here, I couldn't begin to explain how much busy! But busy in a good way, I cant wait to share! ;)

This is my layout for the Scrap Around the World November challenge. I really really dont like christmas layouts so I avoided thw christmas theme. I let myself be inspired from the colours, soft teal, grey and red. But because I have two toddler boys, I had to make the colors more intense to work for me and my photo. This is my sweet Pavlos on a slide at the playground. Yet another flowerless layout from me, but I reckon it will be the last for now lol.

I used 7 dots studio Yuletide collection along with Destination Unknown. Those two collections work so well together! I used a beautiful 2crafty chipboard thar resembled the circular slide that my Pavlos is sitting on. I heat embossed it with Shimmerz and then covered it with Finnabair Art Ingredients, black microbeads and black art sugar. I also heat embossed parts of the modelling paste with a yellowish powder to make it stand out. Oh and I loved the subtle crackles on the moths wings!

Καλημέρα και καλό μήνα!

Σήμερα θα σας δείξω μια διαφορετική σύνθεση απο ότι βλέπετε συνήθως. Ειναι περίοδος αλλαγών οπότε σκέφτηκα να δοκιμάσω κατι διαφορετικό και στις δημιουργίες μου. Έτσι θα δειτε μια clean and simple σελίδα - για τα δικά μου δεδομένα τουλάχιστον - χωρις ουτε ενα λουλουδι! Ναι καλα διαβασατε, χιχι! The Story - An altered item for Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo

Hello Everyone! Its November and we have a new challenge at Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo!



Our theme this month is Leaves. I was so excited to see this challenge because I instantly knew what I would create. I have had a Prima box of journaling cards where I used to keep photos that I printed but didnt put in my layouts. The timing was perfect because a few days earlier I had received my new Bo Bunny stamp Falling leaves. Oh I looove them so much!

Here is my box

I used 7 dots studio paper from the Thoughts Keeper Collection and an element from the Soulmates collection as a title. 

I also used Lindys Stamp Gang Autumn leaves set. I sprayed a watercolor paper with all 4 mists (minus the teal one) and then I heat embossed the leaves with my Bo Bunny leaves stamp. Some fussy cutting, and my brilliant leaves were ready! 

Look at all the shimmer of the Lindys mists and powders! The frame is heat embossed with two different colors, see how well they mix to form a patina rust effect? They shine beautifully in direct sunlight!!! 

The Moroccan panel chipboard is from Creative Embellishments. Not to forget Fiinabair Art ingredients of course, the perfect finishing touch to any project!
