Art - An Autumnal canvas for Crafty Life challenge blog

Hello friends!

The past weeks have been very difficult but I try to stay optimistic - my car was stolen and is definitely positive it will never be found. Sad as it may be, life goes on - and so doeas ART!

This canvas was made days ago but I wa in no position to blog... But in the nick of time, here I am with an autumnal canvas for the Crafty Life Challenge blog. The Autumn moodboard of the month was released shortly after I received my beloved Lindys Stamp Gang Autumn leaves set. Isnt this gorgeous???



So, this is my canvas. I used all sprays but the teal one. I also highlighted the raised parts of the canvas with some inca gold.

I apologise for the poor quality of the photos, its late, almost midnight,,,

Μαθήματα Scrapbooking στο Scraps n Pieces!

Καλησπέρα σε όλους!

Ξεκινάμε δυναμικά με ένα μαθημα εισαγωγικό το Σάββατο 26 Σεπτέμβρη. Θα σας δειξω πως φτιαχνουμε μια σύνθεση, δηλαδή ενα πανεμορφο ενθυμιο μεγεθους 30 επι 30 εκ, τεχνικές για μελάνια, πώς δημιουργούμε clusters και πώς δίνουμε βάθος και όγκο στη σελίδα μας. Εσείς μετά από τρεις ώρες, θα φύγετε με το υπέροχο layout της φωτογραφίας και ένα σωρό μυστικά για τις επόμενες δημιουργίες σας. Κόστος 35 ευρώ (+ΦΠΑ) , και περιλαμβάνει εκτός από τη διδασκαλία , το κιτ σας,  αναψυκτικά ή καφέδες! Το κιτ οπως βλέπετε ειναι γεμάτο με die cuts απο τις πιο hot dies της εποχής και φυσικά με αριστης ποιοτητας λουλουδια, το σήμα κατατεθέν μου! 

Κύκλος Πέντε Συναντήσεων

Και για όσες θέλουν να εμβαθύνουν στην τέχνη του scrapbooking, και να δημιουργήσουν με βάση τις αγαπημένες τους φωτογραφίες πέντε έργα τέχνης, θα πραγματοποιηθεί και ένα κύκλος πέντε συναντήσεων, που θα εξηγεί την τέχνη του memory keeping από τα μελάνια και embellishments, μέχρι τις πάστες, τα στενσιλ και τα μιστ. Σας υποσχόμαι ότι θα κολλήσετε, οπως κολλησα κι εγω, και οι σελίδες σας δε θα έχουν τίποτε να ζηλέψουν σε ομορφιά και τεχνικές απο τις σελίδες γνωστών scrapper ανα τον κοσμο!  Τιμή κύκλου 150 ευρώ (+ΦΠΑ) και περιλαμβάνει εκτός από τη διδασκαλία, όλα τα κιτ και υλικά που θα χρειαστείτε και φυσικά αναψυκτικά ή καφέδες παντα στο φιλόξενο χώρο της Μυρτώς! Παρακάτω θα δειτε μερικά sneaks απο σελίδες και τεχνικές που θα διδαχθείτε!

A little old fashioned - LO for SATW September challenge

Hello lovelies, how are you?

All is well so far but the new school term has started and with it comes the flu and sickness... I pray from the bottom of my heart that this year we manage at least to stay out of the hospital... Fingers crosssed!

But to our artsy staff now! I will show you my latest vintage layout for Scrap Around the World. Its my mother on the photo, back in her younger days. Lots of Prima and Finnabair products on this layout too and of course my beloved Shimmerz texturez!

Cute Boy - A layout for Memories Trend

Καλημέρα σε ολους και καλή Κυριακή!

Σήμερα θα σας δείξω τη δευτερη σελίδα που εφτιαξα με τα χαρτια Mama-Razzi2 της Bo Bunny για το Memories Trend - A crafters joyride. Το χαρτι με τα film strips ηταν ερωτας με την πρώτη ματιά!!!

With this layout I am participating in the Creative Embellishments September challenge. I was inspired by the yellow color and the grunge - graffiti look. I used the Film Strip Picture Frame and the Boy word set. 

I was also inpired by Scrap Africa  no 58 sketch challenge. I used one photo but I also used two frames to make up for it and to give the illusion of more photos. I also flipped vertically the sketch.

Card for Cardabilities Sketch #130 challenge

Hello!

Today I want to show you a sweet feminine card that was made for a sweet little girl's baptism. I used 7 dots papers from Thoughts keeper and Soulmates collection and a wood veneer mannequin that has been in my stash forever. Flowers are Prima Marketing of course

I am not a card maker and cards dont come very easy to me but I enjoyed this one! Maybe I should try them more often, what do you think?

Love - Μια cas mixed media σελίδα για το Scraps n Pieces

Καλησπέρα σας! Και καλο μηνα!

Για το Σεπτέμβριο στο Scraps n Pieces εχουμε μια διαφορετική πρόκληση, και μαλιστα πρόκληση με τα όλα της! 

 Θα δημιουργήσετε με 5 διαφορετικά πράγματα ΜΟΝΟ. Δεν μετράνε στα 5 υλικά/αντικείμενα: το χαρτί βάσης, το μαρκαδοράκι/στυλό που θα χρησιμοποιήσετε για το journaling και συρραπτικά, συνδετήρες, κόλλες.  Αν βαλετε 3 λουλουδια πχ, θεωρείται ότι εχετε βάλει ενα αντικείμενο. 

Η πρόκληση ήταν πραγματική πρόκληση για μενα, που μονο τα λουλουδια που βαζω ειναι παραπανω απο πεντε, χαχα! Γιαυτο το λόγο αποφασισα να στησω την πρόκληση μεχρι εκει που δεν παει, να διαλεξω δηλαδη 5 υλικά και απο 1 αντικείμενο απο κάθε είδος! Ω ναι, μιλαμε για ζορι μεγάλο, αλλά το καταφερα! 

Η σελίδα μου (εμφανώς επηρεασμένη απο την ταλαντουχα Louise Nelson)

Στη φωτογραφια ειναι ο προπαππους και η προγιαγιά μου περιπου το 1950.

Χρησιμοποίησα:

• 1 teal texture paste απο Shimmerz 
• 1 χρυσο μιστ (Color Bloom Antique Gold της Prima Marketing) 
• 1 chipboard frame
• 1 wood veneer τιτλο
• gold micorbeads 

Ω ναι, μονο μονο αυτα! Κι απο τα υλικά που δεν μετρανε, μονο ενα στενσιλ και μονο μια σφραγιδα. Μαζοχισμός στο μεγαλειο του! Το χαρτι βασης ειναι απο τη σειρά Timeless Memories της Prima Marketing. 

Να και μερικά κολπακια ;)

Απλωσα την παστα με στενσιλ. Αραιωσα την παστα με νερο για να βαψω το chipboard frame. Σφραγισα με το μιστ (κι ετσι δεν εχασα υλικό για μελάνι) κι εκανα πιτσιλιες. Αραιωσα κι αλλο την παστα κι εκανα κι αλλες πιτσιλες. Για να χρωματισω τον τιτλο, εκανα το εξης: αφησα να κατακατσει το γκλιττερ του μιστ και με ενα πινελο πηρα χρωμα απο την κορυφη του μπουκαλιου. Έτσι καταφερα να εχω μονο το σκουρο χρώμα. Με το σκουρο χρώμα εκανα κι αλλες πιτσιλιες. Τελος κολλησα τα microbeads. 

Μια κοντινή 

Και για να μην αφησω παραπονεμενη τη φιλη μου την Αλίκη που μας εβαλε αυτη την ωραια πρόκληση, ορίστε και μια σελίδα πιο κοντά στο στυλ της (με εξι (αχεμ) υλικά. Αυτό το υπεροχο ροζ που χρυσιζει ειναι το φανταστικό PearlEx Powder Pigment στο Pink Gold, απο το Scraps n Pieces φυσικά!

This is my take on the challenge using my new favorite collection "Lost and Found" by the talented Dee Dee Catron. Prima Marketing Flowers, Finnabair Art ingredients and of course Shimmerz sprays and textures complement the papers. This is me on the photo, on the last day of kindergarden, telling my poem. Journaling is on the back and its mostly my advice to me lol
