I love Men who ride Bikes

Hello everyone, I am back with another layout inspired by my boys, my middle one and my oldest one, lol! My husband has been a dear fan of bikes since puberty and this love is now transferred to my sons. So this page shows my son age 2 and my husband age 15 riding bikes. I used my favorite Stationer’s desk collection and I made a home-made mist to match the colors of the line and to paint my flowers. I used many stamps for my project, and one of them was my new tire stamp from Creative Embellishments.

This page was made randomly with no sketch in mind but after a couple of days Prima announced their May BAP and boom, there was my page, so, I had to take part. I am also entering in Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo May challenge that requires us to use 3 or more stamps – I used five of them.

Sleep little boy – Prima April PPP

Hello fellow bloggers! I have a layout for my baby boy who turned 1 year old yesterday. I love him so much! We practice co-bedding and therefore I have many photos of him sleeping. Sometimes I lie awake just to watch him sleep, I love the serene look on his face when he knows he sleeps next to mumma! :)

Full of Prima flowers and Prima delight papers, a little less mixed media this time, some stamping and Faber – Castell watercolor pencils.

I used Lydell Quin’s sketch. I find it so easy to scrap when following one of her sketches, I really enjoy them!

Celebrate Life – 7 dots studio

Hello, how are you? Off to quick post again, while the boys are still asleep. :)

I am posting a layout today that I am not sure I like. Does this happen to you? I cant make up my mind. Is it good? Is it trashy? Cant say! All I know is that I love these photos of my younger son and it is a sure thing I will scrap them again! I used 7 dots studio Illumination papers and I loved them, I will definitely use them again very soon!

Everyday Goddess – WW1 April challenge

Hello everyone! This month White with 1 chose a color which has become my latest addiction – mint! This photo was taken 5 years back on our summer vacation. My step daughter blooms every day that passes by!

I decided to use very few supplies for my layout. I used my favorite 13 Arts pastel mint mist, modeling paste, bundled sage distress ink and a TA charcoal mist. Stencils, stamps and flowers, prima resins and bling are all the rest.

Fly High – 7 dots and SIG

Hello everyone! Today I will show you a layout that turned out to be one of my favorites. It was made for the7 dots studio March challenge (challenge theme = flying) and for Scrapbookers in Greece March challenge (with “family” being the challenge theme). I was inspired by Riika Kovasin’s Pop and Colors 2 workshop and I used my favorite 7 dots Messy head collection and a picture of my step daughter back from the graduation of the 1^st grade, where she was dressed as a sea lion! I decided to scrap about her this time, mainly because I mostly scrap about the boys but also because I wanted to journal all the things I cannot tell her because of adolescence. We as parents just have to be patient and understanding for the next years and sometimes this can be so tough!

I used a favorite colour combo of mine, pink and mint. I really miss my pink papers, I have to start pink-scrapping the boys, lol!

My layout

The page is fairly sparkly, I used TA mists, Shimmerz and Silks to give it shine and glamour but it doesn’t really show in the photo.

Happiness – Creative embellishments

Hello everyone!

I am back with another layout made after a tutorial from the talented Georgia Heald for UHK Galleries. This is the first layout I made using one of her tutorials and I have to admit that I am in love with both the process and the end result! I used the Prima Lyric papers and a photo of my previous pregnancy. I thought I should show you a happy layout this time! ;)

With this layout I am participating in the Creative Embellishments March challenge. My page is a loose interpretation of the sketch, mainly because I got carried away by Georgia’s tutorial. But I was inspired by the splatters and the butterflies of the picture and used them on my layout. I mostly make layouts for my boys so I miss using my precious butterfly stamps!
